How To Foam Stamps and Why I Love Spraying Color on Newsprint

My friend Sammiej asked me to explain how I make the foam stamps…

And why do I love the sprays? For the same reason that I love squidging my paint all over at random and letting it overlap and layer until there are no two 4x4 inch sections that are the same anywhere on the page. I like that it creates uniquely different textures and spray effects at random. 

I like happy accidents. They challenge me to overcome them and they enhance my work.

peace… and if not peaceful then always meet the challenge of your own happy accidents with grace and an open mind… Bob Ross was right… overcoming them or recognizing them is what makes our art our own.
